For the second time in as many weeks, Jennifer Lopez Affleck has been spotted in a white-on-white-on-white look. For some celebrities, this appears to be the outfit formula of the summer.
On July 20, Mrs. Affleck was seen exiting a car in wide-leg white jeans, a loose white blouse, a neutral-toned quilted crossbody, and sky-high clear acrylic platform heels. She wore her hair swept up into a chignon with, as always, gold hoop earrings. Close observers of J.Lo fashion may have noticed that the look is remarkably similar to the ’fit she wore on July 12, which also comprised wide-leg white pants, a breezy blouse, platform heels, and a matching handbag.
The white monochromatic uniform is definitely having a moment, in a variety of styles. While Lopez opts for platform shoes and silk shirts, Jennifer Lawrence favors bucket hats and flats. Gisele Bündchen offsets the bridal color palette with beige accessories, and Queen Letizia of Spain sticks to classic silhouettes. Julia Fox, obviously, takes the all-white look as far as she possibly can.
As for Jennifer Lopez specifically, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see her in more versions of this head-to-toe ivory look this summer. But I’ll be shocked if she ditches color from her wardrobe for good.
