The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) hosted its annual gala on Monday, November 13, 2023, at the iconic Cipriani South Street in New York City. The star-studded event honored legendary fashion designer Norma Kamali and actress, singer, and entrepreneur Selena Gomez, who were both presented with the FIT Couture Council Fashion Icon Award.
The evening commenced with a glamorous cocktail reception, where guests mingled and admired the exquisite jewelry on display from event sponsor Messika. As the night progressed, attendees made their way into the grand ballroom for a delectable dinner prepared by renowned chef Lidia Bastianich. Guests were treated to a captivating performance by Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Jessie J, who belted out her greatest hits, leaving the audience spellbound.
