The 75th annual Cannes Film Festival has officially arrived, and so has Eva Longoria. Celebrities like the actor are in France to celebrate over a week of panel discussions and movies premiering at the invite-only event.
But let’s focus on Eva Longoria. The actor was prepared for a photo opp on Tuesday, May 17, when she stepped out of the Martinez Hotel in an oversized orange suit over a silver metallic corset top. Longoria proved that the power suit is here to stay, especially when dressing it up with metallic accessories.
The set consisted of cropped crepe trousers with fitted pleating at the top and a sculptured jacket. The exaggerated shoulder pads of the oversized blazer gave Longoria power-pose energy, along with the sleeves that were purposefully rolled up to show off the gold bangles on her arm. The sheer Cristina Ottaviano bustier corset shines underneath the set with thick metallic boning seams that offset the infinity-shaped bra top.
The metallic paired nicely with the vibrant orange, and she brought the look together with her layered chain necklaces and a pair of metallic cross-strap sandals from Aquazzura. Stylist Charlene Roxborough Konsker often assists the 47-year-old actor on the red carpet and did not disappoint here either.
The Devious Maids actor is an ambassador for L’Oréal and worked with hair artist Stephane Lancien, whom we have to thank for the star’s glossy middle part. A bold lip was the star of the makeup moment, with a strawberry pink that pairs well with the bright orange of the suit.
While no films starring Eva Longoria will be premiered at the Cannes Festival, she is the focus of a panel with Variety on May 19 aptly titled In Conversation: Eva Longoria.
